Then you’ve come to the right place! We are a non-profit association that gives players in Bern the opportunity to discover board games and pen-and-paper role-playing games. You’ve never played before? No problem! Many of our games are suitable for beginners.
The CDC
Since January 2025, we are located in the vicinity of Eigerplatz. Our room is in the basement of an old mansion at Seftigenstrasse 9 in Bern. The building is adjacent to the "Villa Stucki" and right behind the "Embassy of the Netherlands". To make wayfinding easier, we have a detailed description on how to reach us. It is about 15 minutes by foot from Bern Main Station and 10min by public transport.
About us
CDC was founded in July 2023. We are five GMs ("game masters" or "keepers") who love RPG and boardgames and like to host games.
Fortunately, the roleplaying community in Bern has been growing for years, and more and more people are looking for games. However, it’s more difficult to find a suitable room to play in outside of events or private homes.
It is our philosophy that games should not cost anything—no rental fees, no mandatory purchases, or similar payments. That’s why games organized by us are always free. We coordinate via Discord and post open games there. If you like what we do, you can support us with a donation—but that’s completely voluntary.
